SOLA ARTS collaboration for free arts & crafts workshops
Granby Toxteth Development Trust and SOLA are collaborating to deliver 6 different free Arts & Crafts courses for people over 16.
So far, we have held the first of four sessions at SOLA and several others around the community. Working with people living in exile, people who are destitute, people caring for those with Dementia, people with Dementia, people living with mental distress and people from black and minority ethnic backgrounds.
We've been using applique, model making, henna, drawing, design and look forward to glass painting and many more creative techniques to share.
This is a great opportunity for people to develop creative skills and coping mechanisms, find a mental space and open up new learning opportunities and social networks.
