Poetry from Sefton Park
Quack -
I don't know what to say about the duck
he's sitting peacefully
in the cool murky water
the trees reflection,
hiding the blue of the water
there's a rock barrier
holding back the water
the algae floating by
the wild spiky grass
unkempt in the background
the green spongy grass feeling cool underfoot
