Create training today
Adele, Lead Art Therapist at SOLA ARTS delivered a really fantastic training session today for and with British Red Cross staff and volunteers.
The group learnt about Art Therapy, the Create project and toegther everyone explored ways to enable a community based drop-in for refugees to deliver Art Therapy based support.
The training was informative and based on the approach of co-production to develop a specific approach that best suits the British Red Cross Drop-In and their service users within the Create therapy remit.
It was a pleasure to meet everyone, think and share ideas together to develop a support and programme to support asylum seeker and refugee mental wellbeing.
A great start to what we envisage will be a good journey for mental wellbeing of people who can be of the most vulnerable in our community.
