Arts Council has funded FESTIVAL31 for 2018!
Thanks to ACE GFA funding for supporting us again to breakdown barriers to open dialogue through the arts about the refugee experience.
Starting February we will be expanding our community programme this year and focusing on enabling community groups, schools and bunsiness to engage in this fantastic month long journey and exploration of refugee arts & culture and promoting challenging conversations.
We are this year also focusing on supporting emerging artists currently seeking asylum to pro-actively prepare creative talents ready for a career in the arts nce fully settled here.
Finally but not least there will be open calls for exhibitions and film events and we have been able to have our first Internship bringing in Tony originally from El Salvador to develop skills in Community Development in the Arts. Really looking forward ot working with Tony and empowering our communities.
Here's Tony presenting at the All In One Studio- Friday Sharing Group today...
